It is great to get Brian's enthusiastic comments and review of the SFA conference. I think we should also remember that we are still in an up hill battle againest the wrong direction that farming and food systems have taken and there is a lot more to do. SFA, LSP, and other groups that are trying to move agriculture in a better direction need more support to get this done. When I look around for people to give their support, either with donations or voluteer work, I still find that we are in need of more help. It is nice to have a very successful conference, but it would be even better to have significantly more day to day support for the work needed to advance sustainable agriculture. The resources for supporting and advancing sustainable agriculture are still very small and very much need to be expanded.
