Loon Commons is designed to provide a forum for discussion and information sharing on emerging and current environmental and conservation issues in Minnesota.  The site is overseen by the Minnesota Environmental Partnership and posts are submitted by MEP member organizations.

MEP also accepts posts written by Minnesota’s elected officials; these posts are clearly labeled as such.

We do not accept posts written by non-members, unless an MEP member organization approves and submits those posts. Contact Kara Cook with questions about submitting content for Loon Commons.
